Handmade wooden knitting needles, light in weight. Perfect for knitting with super chunky yarns for projects as blankets, cowls, scarfs.  They are 40 mm in diameter and 25 cm (10") long. 

Our giant width needles are handmade in Constitucion, Maule, Chile using sustainably sourced native Oak. The wood is naturally a rich dark brown colour and is only lightly treated to produced a wonderfully smooth finish and is non toxic. These Chunky needles are fantastic for big knitting with wool. They are a good size for children to handle and make learning to knit less of a challenge.  Made with Chilean Oak wood and completely hand made.

Simple design for a lighter needle. Sanded smooth to prevent picking.  These needles make everything knit up so much faster. They will save you money too because you will need less yarn to make same size garment!  Perfect for using with chunky yarn or even roving. Also try them with fabric, leather, suede, just use your imagination.
